Michael Jacobs has been in the financial world since 2008 when he graduated from Linfield University.  He has been serving clients’ needs with investments since 2018.

Michael was born and raised in Tacoma, WA and has a wide array of clients including Division 1 basketball coaches, trade workers, and first responders. Last year, Michael was ranked the 37th largest advisor at Kingswood.

In 2023, he ranked number 48 at his broker dealer Kingswood US.  He has worked very closely with his father, Ted Jacobs, for a number of years and is working on continuing a business that started in 1973.

Over the past several years, Michael has established himself as a member of the DAVE RAMSEY Smartvestor program helping people with their baby steps in the Ramsey program.  He takes a great deal of pride and satisfaction in helping people understand the basics.  There are many advisors that will say things like “we only work with clients with a net worth of over $250,000.”  Michael has always had the idea that you should help people who want help regardless of how much money they have! A good part of that comes from growing up going to Clover Park High School, a public school in Lakewood, WA.  

He has been married to his wife since 2016 and has 2 young boys that keep him busy when he is not at work. When not at work he is most likely playing with his boys or spending time with his wife, or providing future generations with the joy of basketball by refereeing youth events to include local high-schools and the Special Olympics.
