Rick is a seasoned financial advisor with over 25 years of experience in that role. He began his professional career as a practicing attorney, but was drawn to the investment advisory world when he discovered that he could continue his professional roles as a fee-based advocate, fiduciary, counselor, and confidant. He embraces authenticity, speaking plain language, and a desire to take care of people as necessary traits.
Among his varied clients, Rick has served the unique needs of special needs children and their families since 1998. Being no stranger to legal proceedings, for over 25 years he has enjoyed the trust shown by attorneys in introducing their clients. Rick and his firm focus their efforts on truly customized portfolio management. At every step, he enjoys helping clients navigate the evolving financial and “life management” landscapes.
Rick believes in contributing his time to the community and has been an active volunteer in charitable, professional, scholastic, and athletic activities, and serves on the Investment Committee of the North Carolina Bar Association for the past 20 years. He greatly enjoys time with friends on the golf course, and his treasures include his wife, Hargrave, and his three sons and their families.
